Gambling! Week 11 College Football Picks And Lines To Watch

Getty Images

Last week: 2-3
Season record: 17-12

All lines according to OddsShark as of 8:00 p.m., on 11/9
Oregon Ducks (+3.5) at Stanford Cardinal
The money here has been split pretty close to even since the line was released on Sunday. This one is more just a hunch. LSU's victory over Oregon makes the Ducks look better after their complete shutdown of Alabama and I still haven't seen anything from Stanford that has made me a believer. Oregon does it for the second year in a row, this time on the road.
The pick - Oregon +3.5

Marshall Thundering Herd at Tulsa Golden Hurricane (-18)
Tulsa is still being underrated due to the opening gauntlet of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Boise State. Since then the Hurricane has rolled off five straight wins in conference and frankly, Marshall isn't very good. HURRICANE WARNING in Oklahoma.
The pick - Tulsa -18

Navy Midshipmen at SMU Mustangs (-8.5)
In a normal "Navy" year this is just the type of game I would expect them to win, slow down a high-powered offense and slowly tear apart their terrible run defense. But this isn't normal "Navy" and SMU is going to cover the spread, even though it's risen all the way from six.
The pick - SMU -8.5

Nebraska Cornhuskers at Penn St. Nittany Lions (+3)
I've held my tongue all week and this will be the only mention I'll make of it. Consider this a sentimental pick, even though many in the media (see
John Walters) would have you believe that the students and team don't deserve to play in/watch this game. /soapbox. I liked it before all of this too. You can't score on Northwestern at home, you can't score on Penn State on the road.
The pick -  Penn State +3
