Colorado Receives A (Somewhat Shaky) Commitment From DE De'Jon Wilson

According to Adam Musterteiger of BuffStampede.com, the Colorado Buffaloes have received a verbal commitment from Washington D.C. defensive end De'Jon Wilson. Wilson had been committed to Kansas since August, but decided to make the switch to Colorado after Turner Gill was fired as the head coach of the Jayhawks. This verbal could be considered somewhat shaky since he told Adam that he does plan on taking other visits, but hopefully his former teammate and current Buffalo Sherrard Harrington can help make the decision stick.

Welcome aboard De'Jon!

"I have a bond with [Buffs defensive ends] coach [Kanavis] McGhee," said the three-star weakside defensive end prospect from H.D. Woodson High School in Washington, D.C. "I talk with Coach McGhee about football and family issues. He has told me all about the school and what he plans on doing with me when I come up there.

"I also had a chance to talk to [Colorado head] coach [Jon] Embree and he is a great coach. So the relationship that I have with their coaches is great. I am looking forward to going out there."
