The Colorado Buffaloes have added a much needed verbal commitment from Columbia, Missouri tight end Austin Ray. Ray has been committed to Mississippi, but made his switch known to the Colorado coaches yesterday. The Buffs have a big need at the position in 2012 and Ray could be in a position to see playing time in his freshman season.
Welcome aboard Austin!

What type of tight end will Colorado be adding with Ray?
"I am going to add the elements of a tight end that puts his hand in the ground and can help block the edge but also help stretch the field," said the 6-foot-6, 235-pounder. "In the passing game, I can help get first down catches and get those catches when you need it the most."
