Notes On The Rankings:
- Sigh. It looks like any hope of someone besides the SEC West participating in the national championship game are all but gone. It would take a 2007 level meltdown for anyone else to sneak into the game in New Orleans.
- Virginia Tech dropped even though they won. The Hokies kept sneaking up the polls and it was time to re-calibrate. This is a team who's best win is over Georgia Tech. That is no where near a top ten team.
- Lots of Pac-12 teams fading down the stretch. Outside of Utah and USC, most of the conference has had some pretty un-explainable games over the past few weeks. It's going to be very interesting to watch the conference in their bowl match-ups, hopefully we'll get a good idea of the conference's actual strength.
Who would you move up or down?
