Colorado Buffaloes In The NFL: Week Seven Rewind

Now that the Colorado Buffaloes have two new first round draft picks and three new players (for a total of 16) in the NFL, I thought it would be nice to look back at the NFL weekend each Tuesday to see how each of our Buffaloes fared. If you guys saw any of the games and have any comments on the play of any of these guys make sure and leave a note in the comments.

Jimmy Smith - CB - Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore lost to Jacksonville, 12-7
Smith was finally active again last night against the Jaguars for the first time this season. However, he was limited to special teams in the game and did not play corner in the nickel packages as many had assumed he would.

"We would have liked to play Jimmy on defense more," Head Coach John Harbaugh said. "We just weren't in the kind of game where we felt we could do that. He really hasn't played at all with just one week of practice. We didn't feel it was the right time to put him in there."

Nate Solder - LT - New England Patriots
New England had a bye week

Jalil Brown - CB - Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City defeated Oakland, 28-0
I have no idea what he did, but apparently it was awesome?

Best retribution - Jalil Brown. Huge special teams gaffe last week, huge special teams play this week.

Mason Crosby - K - Green Bay Packers
Green Bay defeated Minnesota, 33-27
Same old story. Packers win, Crosby dominates. Went 4-4 on field goals, including a franchise record 58 yarder.

Brad Jones - LB - Green Bay Packers
Green Bay defeated Minnesota, 33-27
No stats

Scotty McKnight - WR - New York Jets
New York defeated San Diego, 27-21
Practice squad

Justin Bannan - DE - St. Louis Rams
St. Louis lost to Dallas, 34-7
No stats

Tyler Brayton - DE - Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis lost to New Orleans, 62-7
No stats

Justin Drescher - LS - New Orleans Saints
New Orleans defeated Indianapolis, 62-7
62 points, you guys. You think the Saints could have scored 62 points without some incredible long-snapping? Hell no they couldn't.

Daniel Graham - TE - Tennessee Titans
Tennessee lost to Houston, 41-7
Made his fourth consecutive start! In a blowout loss...

Andre Gurode - C - Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore lost to Jacksonville, 12-7
Hahaha! Ravens! Haha!

Brian Iwuh - LB - Chicago Bears
Chicago defeated Tampa Bay, 24-18
No stats

Tyler Polumbus - OT - Seattle Seahawks
Seattle lost to Cleveland, 6-3
He is an offensive lineman. Of course he had no stats. Although, they should have let him have a carry, just to make this game a bit more exciting...

Donald Strickland - CB - New York Jets
New York defeated San Diego, 27-21
2 tackles in the victory. At least someone other than Crosby was on their game this week.

Lawrence Vickers - FB - Houston Texans
Houston defeated Tennessee, 41-7
No stats

Terrence Wheatley - CB - Buffalo Bills
Buffalo had a bye week

Consider this you NFL/fantasy football open thread for the week.
