Video: Scotty McKnight Interview With Kyle Ringo - Daily Camera - It's been said before, but Scotty is well-spoken, gregarious, and speaks frankly. His interviews are worth watching. The highlights:
[On the strangest media question he's received]: "I got dogged for not having a lot of twitter followers. And I gotta plug Tyler's twitter... he told me I'd get more TD passes the more twitter followers he has."[On players who have impressed him during off-season]: "Toney...will be a huge impact player for us this year. ...Travon [pron. TRAY-von] Patterson...very very fast guy, catches the ball well away from his body... ...Freshman: Jared Bell, Charles Smith, Keenan Canty...he's great in and out of his breaks. Those are some guys who'll probably step up and get to play this year.
It's definitely the most depth and talent, by far that we've ever had at this school We've never had a receiver like Toney, who's just the complete package, in terms of physically and being a great leader.
[On the start of Fall Camp]: Man, this is the first year I think, since I've been here, where guys are actually, "OK, let's get camp started!" Guys are fired up this year.

Patterson, 5-feet-9 and 170 pounds, could become the fastest player on the CU roster. He ran sprints for the USC track team."We’ve done some running," McKnight said. "He can really move. But he’s still getting acclimated to the elevation. He’s getting bloody noses. I told him, ‘You’ll be OK. You’ll get over it.’’

Big 12 Commissioner Dan Beebe: "I'm in communication with [Big Ten] commissioner Jim Delany now about a swap,"
