Berglund commits to KU Brock Berglund, homegrown quarterback from Valor Christian high school, has announced he will play college ball for the KU Jayhawks. He was previously committed to the Colorado Buffaloes, and had been the first recruit visited at home by new coach Jon Embree. Here is the Denver Post story. This story includes Berglund's statement on his decision: http://blogs.denverpost.com/preps/2010/12/20/full-statement-from-brock-berglund-regarding-his-commitment-switch-to-kansas/2178/ Berglund's decision leaves the buffs with returning starter Tyler Hansen, and redshirt freshman Nick Hirshman. Cornerback Josh Moten and Justin Gorman, who both saw QB action in high school, may be pressed into service in the spring. It's likely that Embree and staff will be looking at other QB candidates to take Berglund's place. One name in the mix could be QB Gary Nova out of Don Bosco Prep. Colorado Buffaloes roster
