Welcome to the Ralphie Report as the Colorado Buffaloes get ready to take on the 12th ranked Kansas State Wildcats in Boulder. The Buffs are coming off a very big win against the #22nd ranked Baylor Bears at home earlier this week. Colorado has a chance to make some noise in the Big 12 with a follow up performance to their big win against the Bears. Win today and the rest of the league will take notice. The good thing is Colorado is playing at home, where they have not lost this year (9-0). Kansas State is 2-1 on the road, losing a week ago today against Missouri. The Wildcats most impressive performance, though, probably came in their most recent game against Texas A&M where they smoked the Aggies by 23 points behind strong performances from their two stars, Denis Clemente and Jacob Pullen.

Today is a very big game for the Buffs' basketball program to be able to show progress and consistency. Hopefully they respond to string two impressive performances together. I do have to say it is nice to feel like the Buffs can play with a top 15 team compared to prior years.

From CuBuffs.com:

OSU UPDATE: Oklahoma State brings a 13-4 record (1-2 in Big 12) into tonight's game with the Buffaloes. OSU is also 9-0 at home and have defeated Texas Tech (81-52) back on Jan. 9. James Anderson is the Big 12 Conference leading scorer (21.6 ppg.) and OSU's leader on the scoreboard having led his team in scoring in 12 games. The Cowboys are coached by Travis Ford, who is in his second year in Stillwater (36-16, .692). OSU was a NCAA Tournament a year ago making the second round.
