So the Buffs got a pretty favorable draw in next year's Hardwood series, in what amounts to an attempt by the two conferences to compete with the Big Ten - ACC Challenge. Oregon State was 18 - 18 last season, finishing 13 - 17 in regular season and Pac 10 play before winning the CBI championship (I didn't know that existed). My only question is why do the Buffs have to go on the road again in this Hardwood series, they played at Stanford last year? If you choose to remember 2008, the Buffs also played in a pretty easy preseason tournament in Hawaii. Not this year, the Boulder Daily Camera lists who CU will be facing in the Maui Invitational: CU will also participate in the Maui Invitational Nov. 23-25 in a field that includes Arizona, Cincinnati, Gonzaga, Maryland, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin.
