Players say Johnson brings a much more aggressive approach to the game. It’s a style many of them believes fits better with the mentality of the group. "I like his mentality and the way he coaches us," redshirt freshman tackle Bryce Givens said. "He makes things seem more possible than Grimes. Grimes was all about technique, all about being perfect every time, whereas coach Johnson is all about coming off the ball and whooping the other person’s (butt). "I love that. I think it’s going to show during the season. Come Day One against CSU, we’re going to put a whooping on them."
