Wed... I mean Tuesday Buff Bites

I could have sworn it was Wednesday.  Oh well, at least we have BCS football on Thursday night (because it is going to be such a cloooose game).

Rodney Stewart is one of Bruce Feldman's surprises of the season so far.

8. Rodney Stewart: It's no surprise that a freshman tailback has given the Colorado offense a major jolt. Of course, it was expected to be uber blue-chipper Darrell Scott, not 5-6, 180-pound Rodney Stewart, the Darren Sproleseque pinball who lit up the West Virginia D the other night for 166 yards. Stewart, a lightly recruited speedster from Columbus, Ohio, has gone from getting four carries in the opener to nine carries the following game to 28 carries against WVU.

Chew on this for a second...  If Matt Stafford was in the Big 12 he would be 11th in the conference in passing efficiency.

Florida State could be in for a very long season if they can't get it done against the Buffs this weekend.

The Seminole defense that looked so impressive last Saturday is getting back linemen Justin Mincey and Neefy Moffett, linebacker Dekoda Watson and cornerback Patrick Robinson from suspension.  That's certainly not going to make them any worse.  On the offensive side of the ball Bobby Bowden is excited about the return of Caz Piurowski.
