October 23rd News

CU logoCU recruit WR Bryce McNeal from Breck, Minnesota who visited the Buffs for the Kansas State game has scheduled an official visit with Oklahoma next week for the Nebraska game...damn. McNeal says that OU is at the top of his list right now. It looks like Minnesota has a chance as well. I would say CU is down towards the bottom of the five.

October 22nd News

CU logoCU Buffs #1 Recruit Priority, Nick Kasa (from Rivals.com):

Right now Florida and CU are the schools that I am the most comfortable with. I really like CU. I am comfortable up there. I like their team. I like the guys on the team. It is really confusing going back and forth between them and Florida.

Does one have the edge over the other at this point in time?

Probably Florida. They are talking to me most of any school.

Could the Gators really be calling Kasa more than the Buffs? If we lose this kid because Florida "tried harder" that is unacceptable. They already have a better program.

CU logoThe 6'3" 220lb DE, Keenan Graham, was blown away by his visit to Colorado for the Kansas State game singling put Boulder as the best visit he has been on so far. Graham is from Las Vegas and is a four star recruit according to Rivals. He is ranked as the 12th best weak side defensive end in the nation. Getting Graham and Colton Nash would help heal the pain that would caused if Kasa left the state for Florida. For more on Graham, check out The Ralphie Report's review of him here.

October 21st News

CU logoThe Buffs have offered a 2010 prospect by the name of Evan Palelei. Palelei is a linebacker from Las Vegas, NV. He came to the Buffs full-contact camp in June and the Buffs were guaranteed that they would give him a scholarship. Palelei is not yet rated as he is still a junior but has impressive size at 6'3" 230 lbs

CU logoIn an area of definite need for the Buffs, the 6-foot-0, 190-pound safety from Gastonia (N.C.) Ashbro Willie Kennedy, has named CU as his current #1 but he wants to take a few more visits before deciding. Currently Marshall and Missouri have also offered Kennedy.

October 20th News

CU logo It sounds like Texas DE Colton Nash really enjoyed his trip to Boulder the weekend of the Kansas State game. The 6'6" 240 lb 4.8 forty running end went as far to say that Colorado is his #1 choice right now and that he definitely wants to play in the Big 12.  He is ranked as the #34 strong side defensive end in the nation. Check out this guys wingspan!

October 16th News

CU logoTwo other recruits will be in attendance this weekend other than Evans, Graham and McNeal. DE Colton Nash and DB Josh Hunter will be at the game against Kansas State. Both three star players, Nash is 6'6" 240 lbs from Texas while Hunter has good size for a DB, coming in at 6'2" 175 lbs from North Carolina. Hunter has already verbally committed to North Carolina so we will see if Hawk can force Hunter to make a tough decision.
