Welcome to the Ralphie Report as the Colorado Buffaloes play in one of their most important games in recent memory against the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Boulder. Why is this game important? A win gets the Buffs a 15 - 15 record in the regular season heading into the Big 12 tournament, which would lock up the #8 seed and the opportunity to play either Tech or Oklahoma in the first round. A win in Kansas City at the Big 12 would make the Buffs eligible for the NIT and the CBI postseason tournaments, something that would be a huge step in the right direction for this program. Their is good chance Colorado will play Texas Tech the next two games. Tech comes in struggling, losing six straight and eight of their last ten. Texas Tech is 3 - 8 on the road this season and 1 - 7 away from Lubbock in the Big 12.

Welcome to the Ralphie Report as the Colorado Buffaloes get ready to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Lincoln. This is the game that the Buffs have to win. A victory here bring us one win from finishing the regular season at .500, a mark that would be a great springboard to next year. But much more importantly, this game is an opportunity for the Buffaloes to end the heinous road losing streak that we are currently on.  It ends tonight!

Welcome to the Ralphie Report as the Colorado Buffaloes get ready to take on the Kansas Jayhawks in Lawrence. The Buffs are coming off a nice victory against Oklahoma Wednesday night to stop a four game losing streak. Colorado benefited from a balanced attack from Cory Higgins, Alec Burks, Marcus Relphorde and Nate Tomlinson. No team has a more dominate home court advantage than the Kansas Jayhawks, who have won 57 straight at Fogg Allen Fieldhouse. The Buffs on the other hand have lost 34 straight Big 12 conference road games. Colorado has played Kansas extremely tough the last two meetings, taking the Jayhawks to overtime in their first meeting of the season.

Welcome to the Ralphie Report as the Colorado Buffaloes get ready to take on the Oklahoma Sooners in Boulder. The Buffs look to get back in win column after losing four in a row. The Sooners come in on a two game slide as well losing to rival Oklahoma State by 21 points this past Saturday night. OU might be without the services two leading scores in G Willie Warren (mono) and C Tiny Gallon (NCAA investigation for agent contact). Colorado should get the services of Marcus Relphorde back after he missed the Kansas St. game with a leg injury.

More on OU from cubuffs.com:

SOONERS UPDATE: Oklahoma is 4-5 in the Big 12 Conference along with a 1-6 record away from the Lloyd Noble Center in conference play.  OU is 2-3 over the their last five games and bring a two-game losing into Boulder. At press time, it is not certain whether sophomore guard Willie Warren (mononucleosis) and freshman center will return to the lineup. Both missed last Saturday's game at Oklahoma State. The Sooners have excellent ball distribution as five players average double figures. Tommy Mason-Griffin leads the Big 12 in 3-point field goal percentage with a .452 mark. He is third on the all-time Oklahoma list for 3-point field goals by a freshman (57) and needs 10 to match the school record.

Welcome to the Ralphie Report as the Colorado Buffaloes get ready to take on the Kansas State Wildcats in Manhattan. The Buffs are heavy underdogs on the road where Colorado has lost 33-straight Big 12 Conference road games since Feb. 5, 2006. CU has also dropped 25-straight road games against Division I opponents. Colorado took #1 ranked Kansas to overtime over a week ago but then laid an egg against Missouri. The task won't be any easier today as the Buffs are playing the 9th ranked team in the nation. In the first meeting, Kansas State beat Colorado 87 - 81 in a game where Cory Higgins scored 30.

Welcome to the Ralphie Report as the Colorado Buffaloes get ready to take on the Missouri Tigers in Boulder. What will the Buffs do for an encore today after turning some national heads in taking the top ranked Kansas Jayhawks to overtime this past week. As of now, the status of Buffs G Alec Burks is up in the air. Burks averages over 16 points per game and is certainly needed as Missouri comes to town with an up tempo offense. Missouri comes in averaging 81.1 points per game, 15th in the nation. The Tigers are 1 - 4 on the road this season so that bodes well for the Buffs.

Welcome to the Ralphie Report as the Colorado Buffaloes get ready to take on the Iowa St. Cyclones in Ames.  Once again, the Buffs will try to win a Big 12 road game for the first time in 32 games. Colorado has also dropped 24 straight road games against Division I opponents. The Buffs are coming off a pretty impressive victory over Nebraska earlier this week but the real test for this team is winning on the road. Iowa State comes into the game on a three game losing streak with their only conference win being on the road against Nebraska. Iowa State is led by F Craig Brackins who averages 15.9 points per game.

As always, the key for the Buffs to win on the road is rebounding. Colorado has been incredibly efficient on the offensive end of the floor but as a team ranks 314th out of 334 in rebounding margin meaning opponents average 5.8 more rebounds per game. Iowa State comes in ranked 133rd in the same department

From CuBuffs.com:

CYCLONES UPDATE: Iowa State comes into the game on a three-game losing (their second three-game skid of the season). ISU is 1-4 in Big 12 play with their lone win coming at Nebraska (56-53). Conference losses are to Texas (90-83), at Texas Tech (78-71), Kansas (84-61) and at Oklahoma (89-84). with the exception of the KU loss, Iowa State's other three Big 12 losses are an average of six points. The Cyclones are 9-3 at home this season under fourth-year head coach Greg McDermott (56-59, .487).
