Buffaloes 28-point underdogs at Washington Huskies

Ron Chenoy-US PRESSWIRE

Sefo Liufau and the Buffs head to Seattle to try and knock off the Huskies.

After opening as 26-point underdogs for the upcoming road game against the Washington Huskies the line for Saturdays contest has quickly jumped up to 28 according to Vegas Insider. Last week saw similar movement when the opening number of 24 was bet all the way up to 29 by the time the Buffaloes took the field in Los Angeles against UCLA. The current number continues a trend of extremely large numbers for Colorado on the road but the Buffs did manage to cover last weekend against the Bruins.

The Washington Huskies started the season on fire with four straight wins including relatively easy victories over Boise State and Arizona. Just like with UCLA, it wouldn't continue once the Huskies got to the meat of their schedule. Washington lost three straight games to Stanford, Oregon and Arizona State while allowing at least 41 points each time. The Huskies, who had a bye this past weekend, were able to get back in the win column with a painless 41-17 victory of California at home two weeks ago.

Kickoff against Washington on Saturday is 6:00 p.m. MT.
