Colorado's first trip to Eugene, Oregon in 26 years ended badly, with a final score of 14-70. On the plus side, we're not zombies. So, that's a plus.

Colorado's loss was not unexpected, but the game hinged on a single missed tackle in the middle of the second quarter. The Oregon player was dancing, and our player was lined up to make the hit, but then Chip failed to square-off and tackle Puddles the Duck.

But in all seriousness, when Oregon's skill players each have 100 yards of offense in the first half there's not much you can do to win the football game.

Nick Hirschman subbed in for the Buffs at the end of the 2nd quarter, and actually looked good, as did Christian Powell, who was responsible (again) for most of the excitement on Colorado's offense.

Ugh.
