The Buffaloes will take in the 12-seed Kansas Jayhawks in the first round.
Last night Linda Lappe and her women's basketball program at Colorado earned a five-seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament and a first round match-up against the Kansas Jayhawks. The Buffaloes will play the first two rounds at home in Boulder, Colorado after being invited to the dance for the first time since 2004. Hopefully the crowd at Coors for the Tournament will mimic the atmosphere for the men's games and give our Buffs a nice ride through the first two rounds.
