The Colorado Buffaloes will attempt to win their first Pac-12 conference game in almost two years as they welcome the Arizona Wildcats to Folsom Field this Saturday night. The line for the home contest started at a touchdown in favor of the Wildcats and has already moved to Arizona -8.
The Buffs took a big step back in a loss to Arizona State this past weekend that had Sefo Liufau running for this life as early mistakes and bad breaks put Colorado into an almost immediate hole. It was a sad return to some of the performances that Buffaloes fans have become accustomed to during their time in the Pac-12 and is one that hopefully won't be repeated again this year.
The Arizona Wildcats started fast with three wins over three overmatched opponents but quickly fell back to earth when ESPN Gameday came to Tucson in a 56-30 loss to UCLA that left them bruised and battered. The following week got even worse when the Wildcats, missing Anu Solomon and Scooby Wright, were steamrolled by Stanford, 55-17.
Last week Arizona got rolling again in an easy 44-7 win over Oregon State. They'll head to Boulder with Solomon back under center and momentum from the win. The Buffaloes will look to put together a much better performance than we saw in Tempe as they try for that elusive conference win.
