Elijah Rodriguez switches commitment from Colorado to Texas

Erich Schlegel

Rodriguez is the second decommitment for Colorado this year.

As expected, Houston, Texas offensive tackle Elijah Rodriguez has switched his verbal commitment from the Buffaloes to the Longhorns. Rodriguez picked up a lot of late interest during his senior year and was always one of the biggest threats to waver amongst the committed Buffs.

Rodriguez is the second decommit this year in this class, along with Jomon Dotson to Washington, but "underrated" guys like this always come with a price. Colorado now holds 19 commits for the 2014 class with only two other offensive linemen on the books (not counting already enrolled longsnapper Wyatt Smith.
