Kent Baer has landed his third defensive commit in the 2014 class.

According to Adam Munsterteiger, the Colorado Buffaloes and Mike MacIntyre have landed a verbal from their second linebacker in the 2014 class with a decision from West Hills, California linebacker Rick Gamboa. Gamboa had been receiving an increased amount of interest from many new schools over the past few months, but had been high on Colorado since a visit in April. His junior season saw him earn all-state and all-CIF honors after recording 160 tackles, eight sacks and one interception as a junior in 2012.

Gamboa becomes the fifth commit in the past month, joining Cade Apsay, Issac Miller, Grant Watanabe and Chance Waz in the 2014 class.

Welcome aboard, Rick!
