The receiver from Southlake, Texas had been grayshirting this season.
Adam Munsterteiger is reporting that wide receiver Peyton Williams will not continue his collegiate career at the University of Colorado as planned and will head back to Texas.
Williams was a 3-star receiver in the 2012 class that was grayshirting this season, meaning he was enrolled in a limited number of classes at CU but could not participate in practices. I guess if Williams was getting homesick, that it's best that he head home now. It's a bit disappointing though because he was an interesting prospect from a great high school program.
While grayshirting and living in Boulder last semester, Peyton Williams realized that his heart is still in Texas: bit.ly/ZmVGHX— Adam Munsterteiger (@adamcm777) January 8, 2013
