Tyler Bey was a late scratch on Thursday night as he sat out the game against Washington State with an undisclosed right hand injury. Tad Boyle said that the injury was minor and that Bey would be back in action on Saturday against Washington.
Here’s a pretty good look of Tyler Bey’s mini wrap on his right hand.

Tad Boyle said Bey should be ready to play Saturday against UW. By all indications, Bey’s hand injury doesn’t appear to be anything to stress over. #CUBuffs

Bey could have played against Wazzu, but the decision was made to rest him. Colorado has great depth at forward and didn’t miss a beat with Lucas Siewert starting. Siewert started 26 games in 2018-19 and Boyle referred to him as a starting forward who just doesn’t start. He was arguably the Buffs’ best player against the Cougars as he had 16 points and 10 rebounds.
The Buffs will need all their big bodies against Washington. The Huskies aren’t that great, but they are very talented at forward. They have the bruising Isaiah Stewart and the dynamic Jaden McDaniels, both five-star freshmen who are expected to be first round picks in the 2020 draft.
