It’s hard to go wrong with black and gold. Given that CU is the “home” team in the terrible, no-good, awful Rocky Mountain Showdown, they will wear their traditional black and gold uniforms. The last time these were worn, the Buffs were in the Alamo Bowl. Let’s hope that game has been washed off of these bad boys.

CSU, as the unofficial “road” team for the RMS, will be wearing light-colored uniforms. This probably equates to their white set with gold helmet. Last year, CU wore their traditional uniforms, and in 2015, they wore the “stromtrooper” all white uniforms. The Rocky Mountain Showdown is at 6 PM on Friday, September 1st, with TV coverage from the Pac-12 Network.
