Kyle Ringo tweeted out an interesting note from the player biographies on the Colorado Buffaloes athletics website this morning. It seems the true freshman wide receiver Jeff Thomas will take this semester off to take care of some issues at home before returning to the team in January.

Thomas had impressed in his time with the team this summer and fall, but ran into trouble when he was involved in the "pellet gun" incident with a number of teammates a few weeks ago. Thomas and fellow wideout DaVaughn Thornton each received suspensions afterwards.
