I’m saying Kough. again

and also to note, again-
if you’re a season ticket holder, Buff Club member, or otherwise booster- you can now contact the signees, per NCAA rules. Previously, you were committing an NCAA violation.

Which is why I don't purchase season tickets.

Didn't someone say they had a list of new and existing Buff Twitter accts?
GIVE UP- At some point, hanging in there just makes you look like an even bigger loser.
I asked that Woods (and Bell, I suppose) to generate one
but it hardly matters. You can follow them, just can’t contact them. It’s a stupid, unenforceable rule that will change, and nothing will happen if you violate it, but it exists.

no, but I adhere to it
It is a rule that dates to before the current social media era. It will change. but it is still there

interesting that Mullen didn’t hold a signing ceremony. They ALWAYS hold a signing ceremony. Maybe Miles isn’t as solid to UW as I thought.

Kough
So if we get kough, the only other potential signee would be Seth Jacobs later today?
by buffs15 on Feb 1, 2012 11:38 AM MST via mobile reply actions
Seth Jacobs is no longer an option
he’s choosing among ARK, OSU, and Ucla. I have said all along that he chooses Oklahoma State

holy shit
Stanford just copped Andrus Peat. We’re going to need to line up all nine of our DL recruits to match up with their OL class

I like that Nebraska lost that recruiting battle
not so happy we have to face the kid.
Hate that Stanford's o-line is going to be insane.

I think they’ll get Kyle Murphy, but now it matters less.

LATE INTREST FROM CYLER MILES FOR CU
Jimmy Wood
Late interest from Cyler Miles with CU. Top CO recruit, would change entire dynamic of class. Come on @JEbuffs @cubuffs @DarianLH3!!!
Shoulder to Shoulder
That would be awesome

Perhaps this is the "surprise" JE was talking about?
Sorry Connor and Shane, but a QB competition is a good thing! Hope he signs!
Agreed
One competition is key, also good to keep the top instate propsect here in Colorado

I agree competition is healthy
I don’t like Embree going back on his work about only taking one QB this year. I am sure that is a big reason why Shane commited so early.
Walter Sobchak: "Also, let's not forget - let's *not* forget, Dude - that keeping wildlife, an amphibious rodent, for uh, domestic, you know, within the city - that aint legal either. "

well, everyone that is connected to Dillon likely cares
Which is most of the San Diego area. For some reason, we’re already losing ground with Chapparel and Vista Murrieta. San Diego is a strong recruiting ground
This bowling alley has my favorite restaurant in Pawnee
its a moot point, no way in hell he comes to CU, but I don’t see how your suppose to pass up your top in state recruit, just because he plays the ssame position as another kid and u told the kid he would be the only qb in this class.

Frankly, Mullen guys don’t produce at the level they are recruited. Nolan Brewster, Clint Brewster, Bryce Givens… go back to Ryan Clement and Emmett Mosley. Devin Aguilar is the best recent Mullen recruit. He went to… Washington.

So we’d have to play him every year, instead of 2 or 3 times.

Big congrats to him and Lappe on the contract extensions! Both well deserved, IMO.

it is astonishing to me that anyone pays for that site
to read a bunch of made-up stories, when there are multiple free sites that immediately report when a recruit clips his nails.

I choose not to support Buffscoop because they don’t have CU’s best interests in mind
This bowling alley has my favorite restaurant in Pawnee
whos interest then?
If not CUs
by Denny Majewski on Feb 1, 2012 2:23 PM MST via mobile up reply actions
Buffscoop is an independent recruiting site, basically. They don’t have the infrastructure of a Rivals (like Adam M) or Scout. So they report anything and everything, regardless of whether or not the player or the AD wants that info released. That’s fine. That’s what they have to do to validate their site and pay their bills. So be it. They’ve said repeatedly that their obligation is to their subscribers, and not to CU or the incoming athletes. That is very true.
But, as a CU fan, I support our AD and our incoming athletes. So my obligations do not necessarily jibe with the obligations of Buffscoop. So I choose not to support them.

CA, TX those are good
but Ohio, NJ, DC… those guys won’t think twice about the weather. And we’ve had a lot of success from OHIO. Rippy, Stewart, all the way back to your boy from Cleveland Ben Kelly. It’s stupid not to target that state.

could say the same thing about CA and TX
and, frankly, CO given this year’s results
This bowling alley has my favorite restaurant in Pawnee
True
But, Colorado is a grab bag due to the state of CU right now. In Ohio it’s Ohio State unless they really want to leave, didn’t get offered or have a family connection elsewhere. CU needs to get back to the point where the recruits friends/family are bitching at him for not going to CU.
Jacobs
I realize its a bit of a pipe dream, but with Embree saying there is still one scholarship available (somehow?), it would be pretty awesome to land Seth Jacobs.
Fullback
It didn’t make a ton of sense adding two FBs on scholarship for the entire roster, let alone in one recruiting class. But I really do like both Norgard and Powell. While reading up on the recruiting class at cubuffs.com (official release from CU), I noticed this: Take a look at the position listed for Powell on page 36. It’s even reinforced in the position breakdown.
http://cubuffs.com/pdf8/821589.pdf?SPSID=3843&SPID=255&DB_OEM_ID=600
Maybe this is the best way to get both players playing time with Powell in the steamroll blocking TE role. Something like Jimmy Kleinsasser for the Vikings.
Anywhere I can watch Embo's presser?
I’ve been lookin around and cant find it. I’d be real curious to see it though.
finally, Jacobs announces what I've been saying for weeks:

Saw the SLC signing event tonight. Peyton was walking around no crutches, no limp… Couldn’t believe he just had ACL surgery 3 weeks ago. Seems like a real outstanding guy and will be a leader.
