Two-fer! Colorado Buffaloes Receive Commitments from Jeromy and Sean Irwin

PrintThe Colorado Buffaloes have received their thirteenth and fourteenth verbal commitments today from the Irwin brothers. Sean Irwin, a 6'4" 220 pound tight end and his brother, Jeromy Irwin, a 6'5" 289 pound offensive tackle both verbally committed to the Buffs. Kanavis McGhee was the primary recruiter. Both Irwin brothers are three star prospects according to rivals and better yet, both play positions of need for the Buffs. Current starting tight end Ryan Deehan graduates after the year and the Buffs can always use talented offensive tackles. Welcome aboard to both Jeromy and Sean.

I can’t remember the last time we had this many recruits early. Pretty impressive to think that in the 6 months or whatever Embree has been here he picked up all those guys for this years freshman class(didn’t have that many guys committed when he came on if I remember correctly) and already 14 for next year.

I know I will get booed, but I love what we are doing in Texas, I know these aren’t the five star guys, but being able to recruit solid players in Texas is how you build up to getting the 4 and 5 star guys.
