This is it?
No one has any other options for this one? There’s got to be some good bars at some of the good restaurants in town.

I'm not sure this is really the crowd for a true upscale bar
Frankly, I can’t name a bar that I really consider “upscale.” Not anywhere. Mostly because I don’t like them. West End is perfect for me because it’s got killer wings, a monster bourbon menu, and a fantastic patio. The only thing better is if they had a full scotch menu as well. And I don’t drink the $20 bourbon. I drink Buffalo Trace mostly.
Look, I've already told Utah to suck it. There's no going back now.
I'm sure places like the T-Zero Lounge
at the St Julien are awesome.
In general though somewhere that serves martinis isn’t very “Boulder” which is probably why we don’t see a lot of options here, there just aren’t that many.
For brewery I nominate...

Walnut
Any conversation should include the Walnut, given it’s history and location. BTW, was in there 2 weeks ago and they have changed the lineup……impressive.

Mountain Sun
Java Porter on a Nitro tap is heavenly.

mt/so sun as the best
or start at upslope and bike south through boulder hitting every brewpub on the way and hope to make so sun by the end of the day!
1. Mountain/Southern Sun- Colorado Kind, Quinn’s Golden Ale
2. Twisted Pine- Hoppy Boy and Raspberry Wheat
3. Boulder Beer Company- Buffalo Gold, SIngletrack, Hazed and Infused
4. Walnut Brewery- White Ale, St James Irish Red
Oskar Blues has a restaurant/brewery where The Silo was on 119 and Hover that is amazing. I know it’s not a Boulder brewery but its not to far and I guarantee the visiting fans while see the blue can’s everywhere on game day

Shoot, it didn't make it in (forgot)
But for best upscale bar
I nominate the No Name Bar/Cosmo’s Bar
For those of you who haven’t been or who haven’t been to Boulder in the last two years, it’s new and it’s great. Absolutely great. It has no name/no sign, it’s just a big wooden door next to Cosmo’s on the hill. It feels like a Speakeasy and it’s nice and small. Worth checking out, even though it didn’t make the list.
