Tuesday Buff Bites - A Little Bit Of Buffaloes, A Lot Of Pac-12

Recapping the day's Buffs and college football news.

Colorado_medium Colorado Buffaloes' Embree making it physical - The Denver Post

Embree said he chose to watch film of only four 2010 Buffs games: Hawaii, California, Kansas and Nebraska. All but the 31-13 victory over Hawaii was a horror show. The Buffs weren't competitive against Cal (52-7) or Nebraska (45-17) and blew a 28-point, fourth-quarter lead at Kansas (52-45). Hawkins was fired two days later.

Embree wanted to see which players "quit" against California and who got "tight" when things went south against the Jayhawks. Nebraska, he said, was the rivalry game by which CU players were judged. Hawaii is the 2011 opener.

"We're not going to have guys quit in games this year," Hansen said, "because coach Embo is going to be in your ear about it."

Colorado_medium Sports at Work  – 2011 PAC 12 Preview–Colorado Buffaloes - Another preview of the Buffaloes upcoming season. While I understand that previewing multiple teams can be hard, I have just about quit reading any previews of Colorado's season because not a soul on earth has any idea what to expect from this team and this coaching staff.

Colorado_medium Former Buff Graham headed to Titans - Buffzone - Daniel Graham is now a Titan. I was really hoping that he would sign with the Steelers. Good for Daniel, but crap.

Colorado_medium CU hoops recruit Josh Scott on ESPNU top 100 | The Field House - I missed this one last week. Tad!

Josh Scott, a 6-foot-10 center who is about to begin his senior year at Lewis-Palmer High in Colorado Springs, is now on the ESPNU recruiting list of the nation’s top 100 prospects. Scott is ranked No. 99 — the only Coloradan on the ESPNU list. He gave an oral commitment to CU last spring and at that time said he will sign a national letter of intent with the Buffs in November during the early signing period.

Colorado_pac-12 Jeff Tedford has the man to revive Cal’s sagging offense: Jeff Tedford - Dr. Saturday - NCAAF Blog - Yahoo! Sports - It's Pac-12 week on the Dr. Saturday blog on Yahoo which means there will be a ton of good content coming out over there. This one talks about Jeff Tedford taking back more control of the offense.

Colorado_pac-12 2011 UCLA Football - Previewing The Linebackers - Bruins Nation - Bruins Nation previews the UCLA linebackers. I want to win this game in LA very, very badly.
