Demise of the Big (little) 12 at Hand

Reports are that Texas A & M will be leaving for the SEC with a deal done before labor day.  The SEC also has eyes on Mizzou (why I have no idea) other than maybe the St. Louis TV market, to me Kansas would be the better fit and increase the basketball power of the conference (KU and UK both in the final four would be a scary thought), and alos get the KC TV market.  What does this mean for the newly formed PAC-12?

My guess is that OU and OKState will both come begging and pleading to join the PAC-12. The other option would be for OU to try to get into the Big 10, but word is they aren't interested.   My hope is that the PAC-12 tells them to go pound sand.  That move would negate all the great benefits we have been reaping from the new conference, again, do we really want to go to Stillwater and Norman again.  My hope is that the remaining Big 12 minus Texas merges with the Mountain West in what will be the crapiest little big conference in the nation.  I am sure OU will love going up to BSU to play.  Shoud be an interesting couple of weeks to say the least.
