PrintTo help welcome our new Pac-12 friends in their pilgrimage's to Boulder we are creating The Ralphie Report Guide To Boulder.I figure every SB Nation blog that is heading this way will be asking for it so this will save us from having to answer the same questions over and over again, we can just send them the link.
So here's how this will work. On the dates you see below we will be taking nominations for entries into each of the categories below. You'll have two days to nominate per category. After two days I will put up the nomination post for the next category and include a poll for the previous one. The top three vote getters in each category will be featured in the guide so don't be afraid to offer up some different nominations and make sure to come back and vote in each category. The timing of this will take us right into fall practice. We're getting close...
- Best Burger - 7/12
- Best Breakfast - 7/14
- Best Sandwich - 7/16
- Best Burrito/Mexican - 7/18
- Best Pizza - 7/20
- Best "Nice" Dinner - 7/22
- Best Dive Bar - 7/24
- Best Sports Bar - 7/26
- Best Upscale Bar - 7/28
- Best Brewery/Brewpup - 7/30
- Best Tailgate Location For Visiting Fans - 8/1
- Best Inexpensive Hotel - 8/3
- Best Expensive Hotel - 8/5
- Best Things To Do On Sunday After The Game - 8/7
Also, if any of you have some graphic design skills we could certainly use a logo image for this and would love to give you a shout out for creating... Shoot me an email if you are interested.

Doesnt get a lot of pub, but an awesome spot right on the hill and IMO a much better burger than the sink. And you cant beat the 4×4 challenge…2 pounds of burger!!!!
yea it closed for construction
not sure if they are coming back. snarf’s said they would like to come back but jones drug store is def out. they are building a multi use building there with commercial on the first floor and condos on the second….pretty sure the rent is gonna be too damn high!

Boulder staple and best grease burger I’ve ever had… not to mention you can’t beat the price and venue!! :)
I'm watching this very closely...
It’s only an hour for me (from Highlands Ranch) to get there, so I can take advantage of this right away.
And I can assure you that U.C.L.A. fans are really looking forward to trips to Boulder. We’re glad you guys are in the gang now!

A lot of crap about this place that drives me nuts but the Basil Blue Burger is the best I’ve had in Boulder.

Dark Horse best burger in Boulder, no contest.
Dark horse is overrated. Thunderbird is good. I’m going with the Sink here just because you have to go there if you are in Boulder.

u can pick the doness and the truffles kick ass! plus the sink is where people will go anyway for drinks and such
Tough choice
I really liked the Thunderbird on the Hill and then Mountain Sun of course, but I have to go with the Pearl Street Pub. Not sure if it was b/c I was loaded most of the times i ate there but they always seemed to hit the spot. The Dark Horse is ok, but you have to drive there….so, I cannot choose them.
Also, how about adding the category of “Best Deck?” I’d say K’s China. Don’t eat the food, but cheap beer (Buff Gold) and mixed drinks.

2) Dark Horse – Jiffy Burger
3) The Sink – Sink Cheeseburger
All three are some of my favorite/most unique Boulder food places. When I come to town for a long weekend, I end up eating nothing but burgers because they’re my favorite places to go. Great beer selection at #1 and #3, too.
