Please tell me how either of these guys...

or the other recruits are supposed to help us at rebounding. Nothing against these guys, I hope they tear it up but our team really needs some size.

Roberson is 6'7" and leading the team in rebounds, steals and blocked shots...

I wouldn’t focus too much on height when you’re talking about a kid that is already 6’8" and probably has a year or two left to grow.

Length and desire make a good rebounder

Charles Barkley and Dennis Rodman were both only 6-6. I know they are elite NBA rebounders but it makes the point that a long athlete who makes an effort to rebound can get it done. I’d rather start two 6-7 guys who want to rebound over two unmotivated 6-10 guys. The college game is all about team rebounding

Barkley is closer to 6'4"

which makes what he did in the NBA as a power forward pretty amazing. but back to the subject at hand…

Agreed

These guys may not be done growing yet, they may add a couple of inches on them, and they both look pretty long to begin with.

I wouldn't worry so much about them growing UP

as them growing OUT. Especially after watching that kid from Iowa State tossing Roberson around. That’s why I’m guardedly optimistic about Damien Cain next year. Dude’s already pretty thick

They seem like

Marcus Relphord/Austin Dufault type players-I think they are great additions. The rebounding problem was less of an issue this year and I think we will be even better next year. Roberson has a full year under his belt and Ben Mills is the future in the post; give Ben another year in the weightroom-he has great potential. AND don’t forget about C/F Shane-Harris Tunks; Boyle was big on him before he tore his ACL….

I do find it amusing that some D-I talent in BB is showing up south of the Palmer Divide

I think these are good pickups for sure, both look very athletic, with room to grow, and smart. I think they should excel at CU.

I agree with the comments here

These two guys are great gets for Tad & CU. I’ll take good size & athletic over big and slow any day. Welcome to Boulder!
