The Colorado Buffaloes have received their third verbal commitment, and second from Colorado, in the 2012 recruiting class from Mullen defensive tackle Tyler Henington. Henington, a teammate of top in-state recruit Cyler Miles, was offered two weeks ago and committed yesterday. Welcome aboard Tyler! H/t to Phil for the Fanshot.

Position: Defensive Tackle Measurables: 6-5/265 High School: Denver (CO) Mullen HS

Other Schools of Interest: Colorado State, Indiana, Michigan, Northwestern, Syracuse, Utah
Status: Verbal to Colorado
Notes: From the Denver Post: "Henington is rated as the fourth-best in-state prospect for the class of 2012 by ColoradoPrepReport.com, which is part of the Rivals network. He had 114 tackles and a team-high 11 sacks last season. He joins Mountain Vista defensive end Clay Norgrad as an early in-state CU commitment. Norgard committed to CU in mid-February. Henington's a major get for Embree and the Buffs, and not only because he's one of the state's best talents. Last season, CU landed only one Mullen player - highly-touted linebacker Brady Daigh - from the state's most talent-rich program."
