Would be a great pick up but I think he has his heart set on leaving the state so even if he decommits, which I’m not so sure he will, I don’t think we have a great chance. Terrible and really sad situation in State College.

Just watched his film on youtube

Certainly looks dominating. But Windsor plays 3A ball. Where their toughest opponent was Silver Creek… So he hasn’t faced a D1 talented DE in his career. Most of the guys he is pancaking are way smaller than him. I definitely like the tenacity and nastiness he shows as a lineman! But I’ll be very curious to see how he does matched up with a much bigger and faster DE.

True

but his bench and squat numbers are ridiculous. Also didn’t sound like Paterno had anything to do with his recruitment.

Factually correct

But if I were him, I’d be a little worried about the ramifications. Death penalty or not, this program will take a big hit.

I know I would be considering other options.

His next best offers were

ASU, South Carolina, Tennessee, Cal and CU.

If he’s so destined to get out of CO, he should choose one of the SEC schools. Good luck blocking those monster SEC D-Lineman!

Death Penalty For Penn State?

While these are the most egregious offenses in recent memory, this is not something that the NCAA will look at as a possible Death Penalty infraction. These were immoral actions made by men placed in in positions of power and trust.

no way. This is an internal problem, not an NCAA problem

Look, I've already told Utah to suck it. There's no going back now.

I don't know about that

There are some very nasty rumors swirling out there that this may go far deeper than one disgusting old man, involing donors, basically may be something that the NCAA has to shut down if there is more than just the assistant coach involved.

Just responding

to Huck’s comment mentioning Death Penalty. People are being fired, more heads will roll and lawsuits will be filed. Sure makes tattoos look benign but hope that the NCAA can finish their job on Oregon et al.

and there it is

Joey O’Connor has decommitted.

hehe

well, I’m not going to think CU is number one just yet on O’Connor’s list but the Buffs have a chance to bring in some legit offensive line talent

Crap

Sold insurance to someone in Windsor who says they know the family. CSU fans… Windsor is close to Fort Collins, but I guess that would mean he’s not a big fan of CU.

we should

at least get him to take a visit; he may change his mind about not liking boulder/cu – its happened before

Hope he comes on board

Looks like he decommitted to Penn State
