Nice to be restarting with your team after a 50 year break. Don't know if we will end up rivals like we are with BYU, but it is great to play a Intermountain team, especially with the BEST mascot in football. I love Ralphie and am always impressed to see him(her) out on the field. Very Cool.
Don't know if there is a ton of you coming over with the holiday and your record, but have no doubt we are very welcome and we will all be glad to see you and help you get to the game and enjoy your stay.
Regardless everyone in CU land have a happy Turkey day and we'll see all of you on Friday. Shop early and then watch the game.

The guy comes on here to welcome our fans to Utah and he gets insulted right away. I’d get the trash talk if he were insulting us in some way. But instead it makes you look like a poor sport and a loser. That’s poor sportsmanship, classless and part of the reason why Boulder and CU fans get a bad rep nationally.
Show some class. Period.
Y’all are just going to automatically HATE on Utah? For what? Because the PAC12 says we have to?! I get that they are closer to us, but they just came from the Mountain West… I was hoping to have more of a rivalry with UCLA or USC as our program got better!
I just don’t get the mindset. Now, if Utah goes out of their way to disrespect CU… We may have a different story.

I would welcome us too, if I saw how we played away from Boulder
my last 3 live games- Ucla, Stanford this year. Cal last year. Time before that was 102 degrees in Tempe. So obviously I’m the idiot for continuing to go.

I appreciate the kind comments! Not deserving of classless insults. Best of luck to you. I hope we break our streak though.
I can not force myself into a rivalry with a team that I’ve never seen CU play. Rivalries are built over time. Maybe that will be Utah at some point. I don’t know. It’s tough to create a rival when we’re this bad. Right now, CSU is the best we got. I hope it doesn’t stay like that for long. I miss husker hating week.

No Sweat on the Classlessness...
We love it!!!! It was the main comment of one of the biggest whiners BYU ever produced and we enjoyed it so much its used as the blog line on the Utah SB Blog (Block U).
In fact, we all enjoyed this douchebag’s comments so much, one of the t-shirts you see when we play the zoobies is the much loved ‘Max Hall Hates Me!’ shirt we wear with pride.
So bring that all day.
And if you want something to help pump up your rivalry spirit in years to come, just remember that long before the snow gets to Colorado, we have machines set up that suck the best flakes down here and we just leave you all the dregs. That’s why we have the Greatest Snow on Earth!! (on a side note, many of these machines are in Utah County, hence the widely known fact that BYU Sucks!!)
It might not be an even rivalry now, but the Buffs have tasted greatness in the past and we know you will climb that mountain again. We did from the horror that was Utah football in the 80’s and you can too. And someday the ‘Rumble in the Rockies’ will be thought of like the Iron Bowl and the Big Game (at least once we think of a good name for it).

Somebody last year mentioned “The Contintental Divide” as a name for the manufactured rivalry which I thought was kinda cool.
