We're going to struggle for several years to come....
The talent difference is just enormous. I know we’ve got some guys injured, but still. We’ve got to get several years of good recruiting classes just to compete with teams like Oregon.

It is sort of amazing how far we’ve fallen. This team is flat out hard to watch. Hawkins just didn’t recruit speed for some reason. I can’t wait until next season when a large chunk of this roster will be gone and we can let Embree’s recruits play

What gives me hope.....
My sister went to Oregon back in 91/92 (before transfering to Colorado once my family moved to Denver). I remember going to the Ducks homecoming game in 91 or 92 and literally cheering for first downs, because they were that bad. We, too, shall come back from these tough times and we’ll be a stronger program for it.
At least 2 years to be competitive.
Need to show you can be even slighly competitive before the good recruits will look at the program. This is why games like this is kind of a doule loss in a way.
