I'm just surprised the decision makers at UCLA and elsewhere don't realize that he lost his mojo
After rick left Washington he seemed changed…not quite the risk taker he once was. Couple that tentativeness with inferior recruiting and you get what’s occurring at UCLA. He’s really better suited to being an OC or maybe head coach as long as he has amazing asst. coaches around him. The UCLA fan base is a pretty apathetic bunch, so it’s not surprising that he’ll make it through the end of the season.
After UCLA's surprise win today over ASU
I’ve got this bad feeling that Tricky Ricky is going to become bowl eligible this year off our backs (and likely keep his job another year)
Maybe that's notentirelyterrible for us.
It would ensure their team remains marginal go forward and we haven’t had much difficulty recruiting against him.
Just love to watch him fail
but that is my own personal vendetta against him. CU was my planned choice for football and Neuheisel told me that I was too small to play for his defense (6’ 220lbs too small??). Was heart broken, growing up CU was the only College i wanted to play for. Ok St. was quick to jump and recruited me, but being hurt by CU’s rejection I wasn’t going to play in the Big 12 and went east. Then Neuheisel joined the Washington staff, what a jackass!
So my love for CU has never waned, my hatred of Rick Neuheisel hasn’t either .
From Hot Seat
to possible Pac 12 Coach of the Year? If they win the South, he is a lock. How could this have happened? They’re winning in spite of him? The fact is they are winning. I was hoping us beating UCLA would have finished him off, now not looking likely.
