PrintBob won't be able to join us for Ralphie Report Radio tonight so it's just going to me talking to myself for a bit before I am joined by David from Addicted to Quack. Since I have been known to go to some really strange places when talking to myself, I figured this would be a really good week to have you guys help me shape the show.
Send in any questions you would like me to address on-air and I will do my best to discuss and hopefully answer them. I'll be closing the comments here at 5 p.m. mountain time so don't hesitate to get them in. Thanks guys!

It seems like everyone is collectively holding their breath wondering if we are going to lose recruits or when our next commit is going to come. I continue to hear rumors about OT Kyle Murphy (5 star) and CB Yuri Wright (4 star) considering CU…does anyone know anything new about these guys? What about others? I think we all need some good news if you can provide it…
I believe that we are pretty much off Murphy's list

I think we were all pleased with the recruiting start Embree got off to this year but I’m starting to get concerned a little about the lack of quality linemen in our class. It sucks that Colorado has the deepest class of OL that I can remember and we don’t have any of them (Hawkins even seemed to always get the #1 in-state guy). Do we have a chance with the Kozan dude or to turn any of the others?

but he’s got a pretty incredible offer list for a 3* guard. As far as flipping guys… I guess anything’s possible.
And aside from a couple of guys, I haven’t been particularly impressed with the recruiting so far. They’d better be closers (and flippers even more, really).

I don’t follow volleyball, maybe a few of you do, but do you realize CU has not even won a SET in Pac-12 play? Not a game, Not a game, Not a game…we talkin bout a SET (thank you AI). Volleyball or not I hate to CU get crushed like this…yes, the Pac-12 is apparently stacked in VB but…wow.

didn’t I hear something a while ago about us having a great recruiting class or something? Must be this year and not last year. The Pac-12 definitely is the best volleyball conference in the country, but still, what is this, year 3 for Kritza?
Soccer hasn’t won a Pac-12 game yet either (normally a sport we’re pretty decent at, no?). The fall sports are a combined 0-19-1 in Pac-12 play so far this year (not including Cal football). Yikes…
Hopefully the basketball teams can get us a few conference wins starting pretty soon.

We weren’t very good in the Big 12, and the Pac 12 is, you know, Southern California and all. On the plus side, we might be able to get access to some of those recruits going forward.

and the impact on further conference realignment?

I heard several weeks ago, CU had recruited a top 10 volleyball class this year. If only the football program could be so lucky. Sigh

but I haven’t been following the whole situation closely enough to be sure… Embree Jr. kicked out of the game for fighting… JE can’t be enjoying watching it much either

and I’ll say good for you and congrats since I took UCLA for an amount that is the complete opposite of huge!
CU is now on the other mentioned for the Bottom 10

My one wish was for us not to make that list this year. Arizona and Boston College are ahead of us and after Zona’s performance they should taken off.
Here’s hoping UCLA takes their place.
