After announcing the national tv schedule just under a month ago, the University of Colorado has now released the local schedule for Tad Boyle's 2011-12 Buffaloes men's basketball team. They eight times on ROOT SPORTS during the 2011-12 season, announced Thursday. The network's schedule also includes five Pac-12 matchups.
All eight telecasts are at the Coors Events Center where CU set four attendance records a year ago during its 24-win campaign, the most victories in school history. Eighteen of the 24 wins under head coach Tad Boyle occurred at home, including five sellouts. Entering the 2011-12 season, the Buffs have won 24-straight non-conference games.
ROOT SPORTS' live broadcast will begin Monday, Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m. when the Buffaloes take on Georgia. A pair of non-conference games are also on the slate the following month when CU hosts Wyoming (Fri., Dec. 9, 7 p.m.) and New Orleans (Wed., Dec. 28, 7 p.m.).
CU begins their inaugural season in the Pac-12 with the conference opener against Utah (Saturday, Dec. 31 at 4 p.m.).
