A.J. Green To Miss Four Games, First Game Back Will Be Against The Buffaloes

News has just broke that Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver A.J. Green will be forced to miss the first four games of the 2010 season. Because the Bulldogs play fellow SEC member South Caroina this weekend, his first game back after suspension will be in Boulder when Georgia plays the Buffs.

University of Georgia wide receiver A. J. Green must miss four games before being eligible to play again, the NCAA ruled late this afternoon.

Green was found to have violated the NCAA agent benefits rules by selling his Independence Bowl game jersey to an individual who meets the NCAA definition of an agent.

Tough break for the Buffs, but it will still be his first game to play this season. Georgia is appealing the suspension.

Can he practice while he's out?

If not, he could be a little rusty in his first game back. But either way he’s gonna be fired up to get back on the field for a game.

Agree

but at least this way the media will play up his return and give the game more national attention.

Welcome to my life

First, Pittsburgh gets Ben back in time to meet the Browns and now this happens.
Actually, I’m glad that Green will play b/c I don’t want to hear the Georgia fans excuses after they lose. Don’t feel the same about Ben though… Keep your women away from that guy

Steelers fan?!? Boooo

I bite my tongue on this site about the Broncos lovefest but this is just too much!
And FYI, it’s still a rivalry, yes the Browns are bad now, but the series record is very close to even. Good luck this year – always root for the AFC North in the playoffs.

Haha, it's definitely still a rivalry

I just thought you would especially like that little dig
