A.J. Green To Miss Four Games, First Game Back Will Be Against The Buffaloes

Stay connected for news and updates

News has just broke that Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver A.J. Green will be forced to miss the first four games of the 2010 season. Because the Bulldogs play fellow SEC member South Caroina this weekend, his first game back after suspension will be in Boulder when Georgia plays the Buffs.

University of Georgia wide receiver A. J. Green must miss four games before being eligible to play again, the NCAA ruled late this afternoon.

Green was found to have violated the NCAA agent benefits rules by selling his Independence Bowl game jersey to an individual who meets the NCAA definition of an agent.

Tough break for the Buffs, but it will still be his first game to play this season. Georgia is appealing the suspension.
