Which teams should be on upset alert this weekend?
David Ubben (3:36 PM)
FSU-OU and CU-Cal should be good games, but I have no idea what's going to happen in that OU game. Colorado will give Cal a run, but I think they lose close.

Hmmmm, don't buy it...
That might be as good as it gets from him. As expected, it seems like he spends a large majority of the time covering TX, OU, NE and barely mentions the others out of obligation.
No resepect from him, but it’s obvious from most of my other post that I always whine about us getting no respect.
Figure we will even get less coverage because we are lame duck members of the Big 12 this year. Also think he resembles a toad.
he also said today
that the buffs would finish no better than 4th in the big 12 north……
OK, I take it all back
I read his “chat” session today, and am now convinced he is an idiot. Honestly, he admitted to having Gilbert on his pre-season Heisman watch? Are you kidding me??!! He had 3 quarters of D1 experience and 2 of those quarters he was worse than horrible!!
Just because he’s the UT quarterback that automatically qualifies him for the Heisman?
Sorry, but after that Chat session, it’s clear where his biases are and he’s just sucking up to Lincoln, Austin, and Norman.
+1
ESPN’s Pac-10 blogger is pretty entertaining to read, and seems to cover most of the schools (even Wazzu)
He is currently running best college bars for the PAC 10 towns
Yesterday he had Cal up. Worth a look for any of you making the trip.
heh. this is from a post by Ted Miller from the PAC 10 blog
“Colorado is strong at cornerback, so it will offer a good test as to whether Riley and his receivers are truly in sync and ready for Pac-10 play.”
I think that’s nicer than anything Ubben’s ever said about us.

I don't find it that outlandish...
Playing in the spotlight for a marquee program he has an outside shot if he can perform even being pretty new on the scene.
As far as last year I put that performance on the coaching staff. In the first half they tied his hands behind his back with crappy, hesitant playcalling and then when they opened it up in the second half I thought he looked real good.
