if we fire hawk AFTER this season, do we have to buy him out?  or is it just "here's a box for your crap and don't let the door hit you on the way out?"

if we do, then would that buyout + the big 12 exit fee again prevent us from firing him?

if no buyout, given the the big 12 exit fee, it still seems like we'd have to target a coach on the lower end of the salary spectrum.  agree?  i don't know much about the budget and what resources are available for coaches salaries.

i'm looking for people with better knowledge of the football budget and hawkin's firing/buyout scenarios to chime in with thoughts...?
