To go along with the Brian Lockridge Story
Start at 1:05 mark for his 98 yard return against Oklahoma State, we need more returns like that.
A little perspective
Just as most of you have, I’ve been reading all the stories about the great new players we have, how much improved the team is, and how great everything seems to be this year!! I get that slight euphoric feeling I got last year at this time. Thats right, last year, same thing, then… POW! It felt like a Ram just headed butted me back to reality with one swift kick (game).
While I am truly optomistic about our Buffs this year, there is just that little something in the back of my mind wondering if its the same fluff-up job we got last year only to know the real truth several games into the year.
Knowing all teams are riding a high going into the season with great aspirations, I truly hope we don’t all look back at the month of August and wonder why we fell for it again.
Note: I’ll admit I’m sucked in again this year with all the hype, I hope I’m not let down.
I have had the same thoughts as you
I have decided to buy into the hype for now so I am least happy at some point this season. I really don’t want to set myself up for a big fall but isn’t that what we do as fans. I just hope we don’t have any Toledo, or Montana St. games this year and we are able to make strides on the offencive side of the ball heading into the Pac-12.
