Where I Come From: EA Sports NCAA Football 2011 Available Now

This post is sponsored by EA Sports NCAA Football 2011.

Our little campaign with EA Sports has now come to an end with the release of NCAA Football 2011 today. Bob and I hope that you enjoyed the stories, I know that we both did. 24 days until camp starts...

When you go to a particular school or grow up around college football, you are more than just a fan. It's who you are. We thought we could leverage this pride in your roots and show that "where you come from" is more than just a statement about geography. By positioning NCAA Football 11 as a game that understands this pride and is authentic to these traditions, the takeaway should be that anything that is in college football is in NCAA Football 11.

And this doesn't just include game play (though that's a huge part of it). It's rivals and mascots; it's legends and stories. It's those things that are at the very fabric of the game itself. Of course the game is great this year as well. With authentic entrances, mascots and specific offenses for each team, the term "where I come from" takes on a much larger meaning. While playing NCAA Football 11 is ultimately a great sports sim, it should also give you a sense of the pride and emotion one has for being a fan of a team they will never not be a part of.

Nice job again guys

Always been a big fan of EA’s NCAA football. Might have to go pick a copy up today to get me through the next 6 weeks or so. Might be fun to sub in Hirschman and see what kind of damage we can do against the PAC 10 teams

Would be pretty awesome

to just go ahead and move us into the Pac-12

I buy only one game a year

and this is it. The online play never gets old and feeds the week-to-week need for my competitive spirit. If anyone’s on PS3 look me up as screenname flo_ridah.

Let’s just hope that they get Scotty McKnight’s skin color right this year. He’s looked more like Marcus Simas the last two versions.

so... Much... Tebow...

But seriously, between getting my first season tickets in the mail this week, which was probably one of the greatest moments of my life, and your series,I have gotten uber stoaked for the season and this team. 8-5 here we come!

Go buffs!!!!!!!

Got the game at midnight

bought the game every year since the 90s. good omen. very first online game i played, took the opening kickoff back with T-clemons. beat auburn in folsom field 28-14. ;) we’re actually alright on the game. thought they would rate us alot worse. like always some of our players should be rated higher and faster then we are. Hirschman is our best QB to play with on the game

no ralphie

Not sure how the authentic entrances is the main selling point this year and ralphies on the commercial and she’s nowhere to be found. Bummer. Still a great game though.

Well I did an online dynasty with buff fans last year and we decided since we all wanted to be the buffs that no one would be the buffs and we would use the custom conferences feature and pick teams in the B range.
