Dan Hawkins to Answer Questions from Fans
Apparently Dan Hawkins will be featured in the next installment of the Fan Mail feature in the Denver Post, so think up some good questions and fire away! It'd be great to see fans fill up the Post's inbox and hopefully get some good responses from Hawk.
If you want to ask CU coach Dan Hawkins about the Buffs football program, now is your chance. Hawkins has agreed to be the next subject in The Post's "Fan Mail" feature. If you have a question for him, go to fanmail@denverpost.com and fire away. His responses can be found at DenverPost.com/sports beginning Friday and in Saturday morning's edition of The Denver Post.
I hardly know where to start with questions for Hawk, but this is probably the one I'll submit: Should the Buffs finish next season with yet another losing record, will you resign as head coach without seeking compensation for the remainder of your contract? Leave a comment with the question you submit, and let's see which of our questions the Post picks for Hawk to answer.

Unfortunately
questions like yours won’t get answered.
Coach – if you regret the decision to bring your son with you to CU why in the world would you continue to open yourself and Cody up for criticism by keeping him in the mix for the starting role?
He may not answer the tough questions
But you never know — maybe the Post will send a few tough ones his way, especially if they get a lot of questions like that from fans. The only thing that’s certain is that he definitely won’t answer any questions not submitted, so we may as well try.

He coach, seeing how you have falsly protrayed yourself as a competent D-1 coach, will you do honorable thing and turn yourself into the State Attorney for fraud.
"Me fail english, that unpossible" - Ralph Wiggum
"Duffman is thrusting in the direction of the problem" - Duffman
"Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun" - Ash from Army of Darkness
"H.I., you're young and you got your health, what you want with a job?" - Evelle from Raising Arizona
"It happens sometimes. People just explode. Natural causes." - Agent Rogersz from Repoman
Open season, the questions are endless....
In state recruiting was probably the biggest “bust” in your four years, how do you repair the reputation and poor light the program is portrayed as?
Did you in your wildest dream think your W-L record would be THIS dismal after 4 years
What are the chances of convincing all of our Big 12 road opponents in 2010 to come to Boulder instead so we have a chance at a win?
Considering our kicking game the last couple of years, are you considering asking Katie Hnida to walk on again?
Will you actually list your W-L record on your resume next Spring, or will you focus more on the almost, moral, and “just a couple plays the other way” victories over the past years?
All question are just for fun, honestly I’d ask a more general question such as “what are you doing differnt this year to yield different results?”
Coach Hawkins,
When you were first hired, I was a great supporter of yours as I believed your record at Boise State would translate to wins here at CU. However, wins have been slow to materialize and wins at Boise State conitnue to pile up. What can you say to me today to make me believe hat you, and not Chris Petersen, was the reason that Boise State won while you were head coach at Boise State? Addtionally, what are you doing differently this year, as opposed to each previous year, to ensure that CU’s record at the end of the season is different than each of your previous seasons?
Shane in Denver
Of course..
and the chances of him answering that question is 0.0%.
