Colorado football officials announced Monday that all of the Buffs' spring practices will be open to the public, with some restrictions involved.

The Buffs open spring drills on Saturday and will conclude with the spring game on April 10. CU will hold eight practices before the school's spring break (March 20-28), with the final seven scheduled for April.

All practices will be open to the public and media, and all members of the media will be required to wear their CU media credentials. Only credentialed media members will be allowed to take notes, photos and video. Cell phones, pets and video cameras (except those used by media members) will not be allowed.

CU officials also noted that other restrictions may take effect if the team is forced inside the practice bubble because of inclement weather.

The Buffs are allowed 15 practices over 34 days (not including spring break). CU may hold three practices in shorts (no contact), four in pads (no tackling), four in pads (tackling allowed 50 percent or less of the time) and four in pads (tackling allowed throughout).

This needed to happen.

Really glad to see this happen. Good choice by all involved.

Just further supports my belief....

that the administration was truly trying to shield from the fans how bad the team was last year. I hope that isn’t true, and they’d never admit to it, but I can’t help but believing it.

So they are going to try and hide it this year?

transparency can sometimes reveal ugly things. Sorry, glass is half empty kinda day……

Sunlight is the best disinfectant as we say in the financial world

I believe, if I’m not mistaken, that you meant "aren’t in your subject line above. I’m assuming as much anyway.

Nothing to lose by showing how bad we are this year going in. This season is a total sunk cost with nothing but upside. If we play great then that’s fantastic and Hawk may save his job. If we play poorly then we clean house and start over. Can’t get any worse than we are today.

Yes, meant to type "aren't"

Financial lingo… “let’s lower quarterly earning expectations so low, there is no possible way to disapoint the street”

We as shareholders need to put pressure on the BOD to deliver results. further bad quarters will force a wholesale management change.

football vs Wall Street…. strangely similar.

Bear or Bull

Is a BUFF market more like a Bear or a Bull market?

by AlaBuff on Mar 2, 2010 5:29 PM MST up reply actions

Short term v. Long term

Short term: bear
Long term: bull

I’m just one man talking.
