Freshman G Alec Burks Will Not Play Against Kansas Tonight

BOULDER - University of Colorado men's basketball head coach Jeff Bzdelik announced Wednesday morning that freshman guard Alec Burks will not play tonight against No. 1 ranked Kansas at a sold-out Coors Events Center.
Burks suffered a left knee sprain last Saturday in the opening minutes of CU's 64-63 loss at Iowa State.
Bzdelik said Burks is still day-to-day and as a precaution he will not play Burks against the Jayhawks.
Burks is CU's second leading scorer averaging 16.3 points per game and is the team's top rebounder with 4.7 rebounds. His scoring average ranks fourth nationally of all freshmen.

hmmm...I'd be impressed...
and they should support them, but the email I got on Monday from KU offering me the chance to buy a ticket might say otherwise.
