QB Munchie Legaux Commits to Cincinnati
According to the University of Cincinnati Official Website, Munchie Legaux has officially committed to the Bearcats. He sent in his letter of intent to Cincinnati at 8:51 am ET. QB Munchie Legaux from New Orleans, LA by far had the most BCS offers of any verbal commitment to the Buffs. Cincinnati entered the Munchie sweepstakes late in the process after new head coach Butch Jones took over. Cincinnati showed Munchie their BCS game last year, told him he will have a chance to play quarterback and obviously, that has some power.
The University of Colorado website will not be providing the names of players who sent their letter of intents until after the day is over, another questionable move by the great regime we have in Boulder. It is beyond me on a day that tries to create buzz about the new players of the program and the future that you wouldn't get people excited about new commitments. But I guess we shouldn't be surprised anymore. Thanks to the University of Cincinnati for doing what most programs do and actual feature signing day!

good luck Munhie.
Mind blowing that our department isn’t going to share the commitments as they come in. It’s just an indication that they realize how dissapointing our recruiting class and the state of our program are.
Good Luck Munchie - I don't blame you.
The CU Admin is disguisting, I can’t believe they arent promoting National Signing Day, what a disgrace.
Way to hype or not hype the program
Well not surprise Munchie left, glad to hear Jones stayed, I had heard he was bolting too. Well, on with the worst recruiting class.
Man I hate being this pessimistic on signing day.

Glad we already got Hirshman.

Frustrated and Helpless
Honestly, it’s just a sad time to be a Buff. Munchie going to Cinci was a hard blow to take and the greatest day of the year has been deflated with disappointment. What is it going to take for the administration to realize how low the program has become? I hate the feeling I have this morning. The mouthful that Dan Talkins press conference will deliver will go along the lines of: “great class of blue collar kids that want to be Buffs” and “these kids fit the system.” How much more can we stomach?
these kids fit the system
a system that hasn’t worked over the past 4 years…..
What is sad, is that a three star recruit leaving is devastating to this class
We have no 4 or 5 star guys to begin with, I am already scared for next year, when we will have problems keeping 2-star recruits.

Wow!??!
In another questionable move by the coaching staff they have decided to not have real time announcements of the recruits? Who does that? Are there any other "competitive" programs in the nation that don’t want their fans checking back on their website to see if anyone has committed? That is not only poor fan communication, but from my perspective, it is just plain LAZY! You can’t tell me that there is not some assistant to an assistant in the program that can’t confirm players to the web…
Oh, sheesh, I forgot…It must be so tough on national signing day as a Colorado Football coach…keeping up with the letters of intent from all three recruits that have still enough confidence in CU that they don’t have time to keep the fans and ticket holders updated. Unimpressive and unfortunate.
But, on a positive note…Go Buffs! Beat the Jay Hawks!
They're just concerned that....
if they post the names during the day that it will give the dreaded bloggers something to post about, which will undoubtedly give our competitors an unfair advantage when we play them…….
This “administration” is fucked in the head.

Sooooooo....
Yes, it’s a low point to be sure for CU. This is a bit like a traffic jam…we’re stuck for a while and getting pissed about it will only stress us out. This traffic jam will last until the Buffs either start the season 6-0, or until it’s announced Hawkins won’t be back. This Legaux kid is a good scrambler and all that, but he’d never have lasted four or five years here after realizing that we have better QBs already. I don’t fret over his decommitment so much as I do the systemic reasons why we are where we are globally speaking. I think we are really close to having the Hawkins era end and we can only hope that the administration takes that $50 million booster offer and rebuilds this place from the ground up. It sucks, but we gotta be patient, like it or not. In the meantime, Tony Jones and Nik Hirschman may turn out to be a great 1-2 punch for us. I just hope Austin Bisnow completes that battery better than he auditioned for American Idol last night. If you need to see how low this place has gotten, check out that flame job on you tube.
