Right now deciding to keep Hawkins only because of lack of QB depth and losing other coaches is crazy. You do it now! You send a message that you want a stud true freshman to come to Boulder and start winning right away. You send a message that we want to get some recruits and build the program. Hawkins is very bad at recruiting. You win college football by having system and recruiting players based on skill set to that system. If you keep changing the system, then you get what Hawkins got, which is dog poo results. Again, it starts with recruiting and this season is over. Currently, the pack 10 is a better league then the Big 12. CU is in for another rocky 2 years. It takes 3 years to decide the fate of a new regime.
