If anyone boos Cody on Saturday they aren't a true Buff fan
1. He’s a student athlete. He’s doing the best he can.
2. He is our only QB. Boo him because you want to burn Hirschman’s Redshirt for 3 games? That’s ridiculous.
3. You can’t plan his father’s mistakes on him.
I thought he acted very classy about the whole situation and the least we can do is show him the same respect he showed in the press conference.

I agree
So glad that the rumors of him quitting because his dad was canned were not true, showed he has high character.
"Me fail english, that unpossible" - Ralph Wiggum
"Duffman is thrusting in the direction of the problem" - Duffman
"Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun" - Ash from Army of Darkness
"H.I., you're young and you got your health, what you want with a job?" - Evelle from Raising Arizona
"It happens sometimes. People just explode. Natural causes." - Agent Rogersz from Repoman
that was the biggest travesty in the entire story
They weren’t even rumors. It was an anonymous source idly speculating that maybe that’s why Hawkins hadn’t been let go. Totally without basis, and totally unfair. When has Cody ever EVER demonstrated anything other than hard work and dedication to the program? When has he said anything other than that he was 100% Buffalo?
Answer: he hasn’t. And from a lot of what I’m reading, he’s dealt with this not just from the fans and media, but from within his own locker room. And that just angries up the blood. Cody was in a bad situation (that he partially put himself in, admittedly). He’s not the QB we needed him to be. But he’s always been a good teammate. He’s always been a hard worker. And he’s always shown 100% dedication to the program and the community. And that’s all we realy have a right to expect.

Watched his "presser" last night
As I’ve mentioned in other post on the blog, he has never done anything less than what his coaches have asked, played to the best of his abilities, and supported Tyler and the rest of the team. You can’t ask for more than that out of him, and am glad he is a Buff.
Make all the critisism about his QB play (I certainly have in the past) you want, but do not boo him as some people think will happen. I doubt any true Buff fan would do that.

I hope Dan and Missy Hawkins are at the game saturday to share senior day with Cody
It’s been a long 5 years at CU for Cody (with lots of highs and lows) and it would be great to see them applauded as PARENTS of a student athlete.
Wish I could be at the game saturday.

I'll be there
and I plan on giving the whole family a standing O. I didn’t agree with a lot of things Hawk did asa coach but as a man he proved, especially at his last news conference, he has class.

Agree with all of the posts
Cody has been nothing but a true Buff and he showed it yesterday. Frankly, I was impressed by both Hawkins at the press conference.
