...and I know landing a top-rated recruit sometimes means nothing (Darrell Scott), but it's still pretty saddening not to see Colorado ANYWHERE on this list. We're not even in contention for some of these guys. Granted, I'm sure some of the incoming players will exceed expectations, but I hope our AD can see that this is not how you build a program. Although I'm not holding my breath.

Yeah I know what you mean

I fell like I’ve turned really jaded towards this program. I think it has a lot to do with the high hopes coming into the season because of the relatively easy schedule and seeing those hopes get crushed in the first two weeks. I really want something positive to grasp onto right now and I am not finding it.

I would say this is shaping up to be Hawkins worst class

No real surprise, what kid in their right mind would want to come here and play for this clown. He has shown no ability to develop or coach talent. He is easily the worst coach in the Big 12, and he has basically spit on all the tradition and pride that this program had. Basically he set the program back 5 years and now with another lackluster class he will be setting it back another 8 years. This team would have a hard time competeing the the MWC or WAC. I would love to be positive, but what is there to be positive about, returning guys that were mediorce at best with a coaching staff that has shown no ability to get players to play up to their talent level or have a cohesive philosphy.
