I miss Hallux Valgus!!!!

Whoever taunted Hallux and chased him away did a great diservice to this blog. He always provided outstanding analysis (not always right, but always made for good debate) and always provided interesting insight/tid bits. More than anyone on here, he educated me on the X's and O's of the game, which I greatly need and long for on this sight. In short: Hallux, if you are just sitting out there in the shadows, please come back and participate. This blog was better with your contributions. Just one man talking....

I think he got fed up with the Hawk bashing.

Just because he had a loud/vigorous debating style doesn’t mean he was belittling anyone. If you go back and read his posts, they never personally attacked anyone. Only their ideas. That is healthy and what this site should be dedicated to.

I clearly remember

Hallux belittling a new poster over spelling errors and poor grammar in a post. He went on to question how the poster could graduate college with such poor grammar…that’s a personal attack and there’s no need for that here.

That was most definitely a personal attack and I also thought that’s where you were saying he was taunted or chased away. Now I have no idea what you meant by that if you didn’t even see that post. Unless it’s just what Jon said and he was sick of the negativity.

He was a great contributor, but on the other hand what coffmonster is very true.

Buff-in-IL, I’m assuming you’re referring to the fanpost where he totally went off on somebody for no apparent reason and a few of us pretty much told him to be nice. No one taunted him or chased him away (at least from what I saw, irish erased it so I have no idea if other things were said by him or others later on). If he seriously left for good after that minor incident I think he maybe needs to look in the mirror or toughen up a little bit. Just my opinion, and I would certainly welcome him back.
